Booking system will allow to extend magento store functionality to book events with seats. Admin can set seat map for all events.so for all different events there will be different seatmaps.

so it will give choice to user to select their own seat. after successful checkout customer can get ticket in pdf format. So all features of magento for order processing and product management, report management can be useful with booking system.
